The Clover High School Athletic Department is pleased to announce several new head coaches for the 2023 school year!
Ashlyn Condon, former Blue Eagle golfer, will lead the Lady Blue Eagle golf program. Coach Condon is an avid golfer and also serves as an assistant basketball coach at CHS. Melissa Rickmon will take over the CHS Lady Blue Eagle volleyball team. Coach Rickmon has been an assistant with the Lady Blue Eagles for the past two years and will now step into the Head Coach role. A Virginia native, Coach Rickmon played collegiately at Roanoke College where she was a 4 time all conference selection and still ranks in the top 3 in school history in kills, digs, and attack percentage. Coach Rickmon brings a decade of coaching experience to the sideline.
Coach Samantha Miller, takes over the girls lacrosse program after leading the JV Blue Eagles for the past three seasons. Coach Miller, a Long Island, NY native, was a 4 time State Champion in high school, played Division I lacrosse at Sacred Heart University, was an NEC All-Conference selection, and a team captain at Sacred Heart. Heidi Haug, interim head track coach, will take over full time for the Blue Eagles this spring. Coach Haug has been a valuable asset to our track program for the past 5 years and has 8 years of track coaching experience, An Ohio native, Coach Haug was a high school state champion in both girls soccer and softball while also competing in the shot and discus for the track team. As a track athlete, Coach Haug qualified for multiple regional and state competitions. Blue Eagle Nation welcomes our new head coaches to the "nest". Go Blue Eagles!
